What Total Car Check offers

• A free vehicle check for identity, MOT status and pre-purchase indicators. Official support says the free check includes a stolen vehicle check, specification, keeper information and MOT mileage for registered users.
• A Silver check at £3.99, or five for £9.99 (£1.99 each). Official support says Silver adds key risk data such as write-off, scrapped or salvage, and is for shortlisting rather than a purchase decision.
• A Gold check at £9.99, or three for £14.99, or five for £19.99. Official support says Gold adds outstanding finance and a valuation.
• Vouchers that official pages say expire after two years.
• Official support recommends Gold if you are buying, because that is the product that includes the finance check.

Hidden History is the paid report.
