Commission
Earn commission on eligible VehicleScore purchases. Commission is recorded only after a successful eligible paid purchase — not for entering a registration, opening a free VehicleScore, starting checkout, or creating a PaymentIntent.
Refunded purchases are not commissionable. We do not pay for free checks. A public rate and attribution window will be confirmed after VehicleScore has reviewed contribution margin, terms and payout process.

VehicleScore still needs legal review of eligibility, acceptable promotion, prohibited advertising, trademark bidding, paid search rules, coupon sites and related items before the programme is publicly launched. Who can become a VehicleScore affiliate?
Automotive websites, car-buying guides, motoring creators, YouTube channels, TikTok and Instagram creators, car communities, dealerships, automotive apps, comparison websites and publishers can apply.
We do not accept unsolicited or spam marketing. Applications are reviewed manually and are not approved automatically.
How does the VehicleScore affiliate programme work?
Approved affiliates receive a unique referral link such as vehiclescore.co.uk/?ref=YOURCODE.
When someone uses that link, we store a first-party referral cookie. If they later buy an eligible vehicle history check, that purchase can create commission.
How do I earn commission?
Earn commission on eligible VehicleScore purchases. Free vehicle checks, incomplete checkouts and failed payments do not earn commission.
A public commission rate has not been published. Approved partners receive their rate from VehicleScore after commercial review.
How are referrals tracked?
We use last eligible affiliate referral: the most recent valid ?ref= visit within the configured first-party window is the one that can own a later purchase.
That referral is stored on a first-party cookie, then associated with the visitor’s guest ID and checkout session if they continue to a paid check. PaymentIntent replacements during checkout do not create a new referral.
When are commissions approved?
A successful eligible purchase creates a pending commission. VehicleScore staff can approve it after review, or reverse it if the purchase is refunded.
Payouts are marked manually. We do not send automatic affiliate payments from this page.
What happens if a customer receives a refund?
If an attributed purchase is refunded or cancelled, the related commission is reversed and is not payable.
Can I promote VehicleScore on social media?
Yes, if you are an approved affiliate and your promotion is accurate. Do not make claims we have not approved, and do not buy VehicleScore ads on trademark terms until the affiliate terms are published.
