BHP means brake horsepower. It is the power figure usually quoted for UK cars. Enter the registration above and, where we hold a figure, the free check shows that recorded BHP. It is not a rolling-road reading.
Horsepower is the general word. PS is metric horsepower, used on many European specifications, and it is not the same number as BHP. A kilowatt (kW) is the metric unit of power. Model tables show PS and kW when those values are on the record. Browse BHP by manufacturer in the directory below, then open a model for the variant table.
